Our marine learning adventure is located on Canada's Grand Manan Island in the mouth of the Bay of Fundy between Maine and Nova Scotia. The Bay of Fundy boasts the highest tides in the world. Our exploration focuses on the unique ecology of the Bay of Fundy and how the highest tides in the world produce huge quantities of plankton to establish a wonderfully diverse food web. Seabirds and marine life are plentiful and a wide array of cetaceans visit the bay each year. The Bay of Fundy is referred to as the nursery ground for the North Atlantic Right Whale, the rarest whale in the world.
