The Whale Camp’s purpose is to increase awareness, understanding and appreciation of the life systems in the oceans and particularly in the Bay of Fundy and to use metaphors from the sea and sea life we help to put human life into perspective. By weaving together direct personal observation of whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals, puffins and other marine life in their natural habitat; the use of hands-on, discovery-oriented, adventure based marine science activities; and opportunities for personal reflection, metaphoric learning and teambuilding games the Whale Camp provides a deeply meaningful, life-changing, learning experience.
