Whale Camp Family Program

Family Program:
This program offers the same activities as the adult/teachers program (see one-week schedule for adults/teachers) but adapted to the needs and comforts of families. Lodging is provided in very comfortable two-bedroom beach-front cottages. Each is equipped with living room, kitchen, dining area and television with cable. All meals except one supper are included in the tuition cost. The cabins are located a short walk down the beach from the Whale Camp site. Most meals will be provided at the Whale Camp dining hall, some breakfasts are delivered to your cabin. Please note that due to safety concerns we cannot accept children under age five.

Special focus is placed on the marine mammals in the area, specifically the most endangered whale in the world, the North Atlantic Right Whale.

Please note that Whale Camp provides transportation from Bangor, Maine to Grand Manan Island on the first day of each session. Participants must arrive in Bangor, Maine the day before the first day of each session.
